BOOST Project

What is the BOOST Project ?

For the past 8 years, this programme has offered SMEs the opportunity to benefit from the support of engineering students to innovate, rethink their business model and optimise their organisation.

Our mission at LDMD

The automation of quotations at LDMD Industries aims to improve the company's performance. By integrating innovative technologies such as AI and automation scripts!

In a team of four, we will eventually enable :

  • Improving efficiency: Reduce the time it takes to process quotations, making the company more responsive and more competitive on the market.
  • Greater precision: Thanks to AI and automation scripts, estimates become more reliable, reducing the administrative time spent on estimates and providing a better understanding of customer requests.
  • Optimisation of human resources: By automating certain repetitive tasks, teams can concentrate on higher added-value missions, strengthening their role in customer relations and in the creation of tailor-made solutions.

Design and production of a product

Second-year project aimed at finding an innovative solution to improve the Flexifix support by Doublet (a stand to attach a kakemono to a lamp post), enhancing both aesthetics and ease of installation. As a team of four students, we developed a detailed specification document, conducted an analysis of existing solutions, and carried out technical dimensioning. The project involved building a prototype for testing and validation, which led to the creation of a functional model.

From product analysis to innovation

First-year innovation project focused on improving existing products to enhance seniors' daily lives. As part of a team of seven students, we focused on cutlery design, carrying out technical and market research, and developing prototypes to better meet the needs of elderly users.
